2013 Nutmeg Nominees
The 2013 Teen Nutmeg Nominees have been available at the Booth & Dimock Memorial Library for nearly a month now. A few Coventry teens have been busy reading them already. Here a few of their reviews:
The Running Dream by Wendelin Van Draanen
The Running Dream is about a girl named Jessica who loses part of her right leg in a tragic accident involving a truck and a bus. She struggles but she meets a girl named Rosa who helps her get through it. Read the book to find out the ending. -A.K.
The Grimm Legacy by Polly Shulman
The main character's name is Elizabeth and she is a student who gets good grades. One day, her social studies teacher recommends her for a job at the New York Circulating Material Repository, which is basically like a big library. Some things start to wrong in the GC (Grimm Collection). Can Elizabeth and her friends and co-workers from the library solve the problem? Read the book to find out. -AK
Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Maberry

Matched by Ally Condie
The main character is a girl named Cassia. Cassia is matched with her best friend Xander but for one moment another face appears on the screen. Its another boy she knows, Ky.
