Library Limericks!

Sharing limericks at the library

Can frankly be quite scary.

As long as they're clean

And far from obscene,

Then let's all laugh and be merry!

Take a look at these clever limericks written by members of our Teen Zone!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why must you be so contrary?

Your language is vile and scary.

This is not a cuss-house,

So wash out your mouths

This is the B+D Library!

--by Alec D. and Travis F.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh, Kristi, Kristi!

Why are your eyes misty?

Is it because of my limerick?

It isn't a gimmerick!

Oh how I love you, Kristi!

--by Carly F.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Travis is so cool.

Although sometimes he acts like a fool.

When he spikes his hair

And handles books with care,

Getting a Master's degree in school.

The Teen Zone is the place to be,

With Alec, Carly, Richie, and Kristi.

You can check out a book,

And read in a nook

With Travis as busy as a bee.
