Here are two fantastic books, reviewed by Coventry Teens, that you might also want to read:
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie
A Review by Patrick Favre
When I first looked at this book I was not sure I would like it, but I was soon hooked to it. It tells the story of and Indian determined to go to a white school. When he does, his life starts changing in ways he never expected. Enjoy this story of survival through a boy just trying to be who he is.
I liked this book because it was not afraid to hold back on some subjects.
